Do you accept insurance?

We are currently contracted with Anthem Blue Cross of California and accept FSA/HSA. A Superbill (i.e. visit receipt) can be provided after the visit and payment as long as medical diagnosis is confirmed by either the primary care or referring provider.

Regarding other insurance plans, we cannot guarantee coverage, but will try our best to make sure fees are not a barrier to treatment. In our experience, some insurances can accept Medical Nutrition Therapy as a payment toward reaching the deductible. Once this is reached, benefits can then be applied to nutrition visits.

How do I pay for services?

Payment is due at or before the time of service. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards. You can also select the services tab to pay through the website and then sign up on the Healthie calendar. After the initial visit, clients may select monthly automatic payments using a credit card.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

We offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments based on financial need. We would require a copy of paperwork confirming the financial need such as enrollment in school as an independent, a recent pay stub, etc. We can discuss current availability with you directly via telephone or email.

What is the cancellation policy?

Please call or email us directly to reschedule or cancel an appointment. You will be charged the full fee for any appointment cancelled less than 48 hours in advance. Please give yourself ample time to park and walk to the office.
